This production offered me the opportunity to write choral arrangements for the actors to sing in the style of the Sacred Harp tradition. Craig, the director, gave me text from the Egyptian Book of the Dead, and asked me to put the choral arrangements to them. These recordings are of me singing in multiple tracks and voices as preparation for rehearsals. I taught the actors their parts and these songs were used as transitions between scenes. The play was performed in an old congregational church in Maine.
